Slovakia plans to conclude an agreement on preventing double taxation with Azerbaijan as well as an agreement to protect investments, stated Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini (Smer-SD) on Tuesday during his official visit to Azerbaijan. "We agreed that Finance Minister Peter Kažimír (Smer-SD) will complete the wording of the agreement on preventing double taxation, which is very important for mutual relations," added Pellegrini after meeting with Azerbaijan Prime Minister Novruz Mammadov. Finance Minister Peter Kažimír stated that his ministry is in the final stage of preparing the agreement on preventing double taxation, with the agreement needing to be approved by parliaments in both countries.
