Slovakia's compliance with anti-corruption standards is presently being evaluated by members of the Group of States Against Corruption (GRECO), stated Justice Ministry spokeswoman Zuzana Drobová to TASR on Tuesday. The evaluators will remain in Slovakia until Friday (November 16). The evaluation is focusing on the issues of property declarations made by public officials, integrity issues, donation reception, legislative process transparency, lobbyism and the influence of lobbyists on the legislative process, and adherence to ethical rules and ethical codes. Drobová added that the ministry hopes that the monitoring of implemented anti-corruption standards will contribute to visible results in penalising corruption.
