The Italian firm Intercable has announced it intends to begin manufacturing components for electric vehicles such as the Audi e-tron, Mercedes EQC, or Porsche Mission E. The family-owned company has already built a production hall in the village of Krivan (central Slovakia) at a cost of €7.14 million, employing 239 people and manufacturing cable crimping components. It now plans to expand production, focusing on electric vehicle components, with the expansion possibly resulting in 2.5 years' worth of income tax relief, according to the Hospodárske Noviny newspaper.
