Most shops in Slovakia will be closed on Tuesday and all will be closed on Thursday as both days are bank holidays. Thursday, November 1 is the All Saints Day. On Tuesday October 30, Slovaks will commemorate the 100th anniversary of the signature of the Martin Declaration or the Declaration of the Slovak Nation. The Slovak Parliament declared the day a one-off bank holiday. People will not go to work, school and most shops will be closed.
