Foreign investors own more than one half of Slovak government bonds, reports an analysis performed by Poštová Banka. The amount represents a five-fold increase compared to the end of 2009.
In addition, foreign investors also own the majority of Slovak bonds traded abroad. Poštová Banka analyst Eva Sadovská says that, “the overall ratio of our bonds owned by non-residents is even a little higher, at about 60 percent”.
