The GLOBSEC Tatra Summit is being held in the town of Štrbské Pleso in the High Tatras. This important annual security conference discusses hot European political, economic and financial issues. As its president Robert Vass informed, one of the key topics will be problems that might distort the progress of the European Union. The conference speakers include the European Commissioner for Competition Margarethe Vestager, the Vice President of the European Investment Bank Vazil Hudák, the Vice-President of the European Commission for Energy Union Maroš Šefčovič, Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini, Foreign Minister Miroslav Lajčák and Finance Minister Peter Kažimír among others.
