Košice Peace Marathon on Sunday

The 95^th annual of the Košice Peace Marathon starts on Sunday, October 7, in this eastern Slovak city. The longest running marathon in Europe will welcome more than 13 thousand athletes this year including Kenyan and Ethiopian long distance runners, with a gold label from the International Association of Athletics Federations. The tens of thousands of visitors can look forward not only to the performance of the winners of last year's peace marathon Sheila Jerotich and Reuben Kiprop Kerio. There are also accompanying events ready both for those running as well as for those watching. The race starts at 9 am.
