The village of Lekárovce, eastern Slovakia, will receive €500,000 from the Government to repair the damage caused by the strong winds that hit the village on Wednesday (October 3), the Government of Peter Pellegrini decided at its away-from-home session on Thursday. The session was supposed to take place in the town of Sobrance, eastern Slovakia, but was moved directly to Lekárovce due to the incident. The strong winds that hit this village on Wednesday tore off roofs and damaged more than 30 houses and buildings. A state of emergency was declared.
