The Austrian Council of the EU Presidency as well as the Slovak Presidency of the Visegrad Four (V4: Czech Republic, Hungary, Poland, Slovakia) will be the main topics discussed by the parliamentary chairs of the Austerlitz Format countries (Austria, the Czech Republic and Slovakia) at their session slated for Wednesday and Thursday at Kroměříž, TASR learnt on the same day. "The Slovak Republic maintains its position of strong support for the European project. We're also aware of the great value of alliance and partnership cooperation, which we attempt to develop in a balanced and multi-vector manner," claimed Slovak Parliamentary Chair Andrej Danko. Danko also stressed that the key prerequisite for cooperation within the EU is the ability to listen to the opinions of others. "We need to sit down at a single table and listen to each other more, even if it eats up more time. The losses caused by the potential promotion of opinions on which all those involved don't concur or aren't even aware of will always be considerably more painful," he said with respect to the future development of the EU.
