In 2018 and the coming years, more money should be collected through taxes and levies in Slovakia, wrote the TASR press agency citing the Finance Ministry. According to the Ministry's forecast, tax revenues should rise by €560-654 million between 2018 and 2021. The better tax collection this year is significantly influenced by an increase in the efficiency of the collection, while the increase in the revenue estimate next year can be attributed to positive wage developments. According to the Ministry's estimates, for example, the introduction of the 13th and 14th salary should bring to the state coffers €33 million this year, €39 million next year, and €24 million in 2020. The overall impact of the legislation on the tax forecast for this year is €24 million this year, €34 million next year, and €31 million in 2020. The Finance Ministry also expects better VAT collection.
