Slovak President Andrej Kiska announced his displeasure with the ideas put forward in Tuesday's speech made by US President Donald Trump at the United Nations General Assembly (UN) in New York. Kiska explained that he does not share Trump's famous "America First" slogan, seeing as Slovakia's primary position is focused on strengthening the rights of member states in the European Union. "The address included a lot of messages that require in-depth analysis. The one thing I can't agree with President Trump on is such national egoism - America First. We, Slovakia, can see that we're very successful mainly thanks to being part of the EU. The common market gives us immense growth opportunities, and so I personally don't view it as right to talk about national egoism today," stated Kiska.
