The Frenchman Julian Alaphilippe of the Quick-Step Floors team won the 62nd edition of the Around Slovakia road cycling competition which ended at the weekend. Italian Giulio Ciccone of the Bardani-CSF team became the best climber, Norwegian Tobias Foss (UNO-X) won among the U23 riders, and Slovak Martin Haring of the Dukla Banská Bystrica team earned the first place among sprinters. The Polish CCC Sprandi Polkowice won the teams' competition.
