Speaker of Parliament Pavol Paška approved the nominations of all 15 candidates running for the Presidential post in the upcoming elections; making it the highest number of candidates to run in a Presidential election. 14 men and one woman will compete in the poll. This will be the fourth direct presidential election in Slovakia's history. The first round is due to take place on 15 March.
