Customs frauds with textile imported from China allegedly took place in Slovakia between the years 2013 and 2014. The European Union lost millions of euros due to the activities of organized groups. According to the European Anti-fraud Office (OLAF), Slovakia is to pay 302 million euros to the European Union as the country is liable for the supervision of the customs collection. The financial administration does not deny the problem. OLAF has not yet replied to the questions. The European Commission, however, has not initiated any infringement procedure in this regard.
