International airshow in Sliač

The largest airshow in Slovakia will take place during the weekend on the 1^st and the 2^nd of September. "The International Aviation Days in Sliač are celebrating the unique history of the Czechoslovak Air Force on the occasion of the 100th anniversary of Czechoslovakia. Flight fans can look forward to aircrafts from eleven countries. The legends of the current era, the masterpiece of Czechoslovak designers L-29 Delfín (Dolphin) and MiG-15, will be presented in the sky," said Juraj Kačo from the Marketing and Communication Department of the RTVS public broadcaster, which is the general media partner of the event. The performance will include the French elite ensemble Patrouille de France and the Royal Jordanian Falcons. There will also be a home quartet of the motorless acrobats called Očovskí bačovia - Shepherds from Očová.
