The number of registered e-cars in Slovakia has been increasing rapidly. While in 2016, there were 434 e-cars registered in Slovakia, the number was five times higher last year thanks to state subsidies. Currently, the ministry is preparing a new action plan that will make the purchase of e-cars more attractive.
