Although the Slovak economy is much smaller in size compared to the US economy it has now a huge advantage for investors. Its debt is cheaper than the debt of the United States, writes the Hospodarske Noviny daily.
So, while investors trade the U.S. debt at almost 3% in interest rates, the rates on the Slovak one are less than 2.6%. As the business daily further writes, the yields indicate the trust of investors in individual countries.
