Young technicians Jakub Fecko and Sebastian Ivan have been awarded a silver medal at the International Science and Technology Competition for Adolescents which took place in China last week. Their project "Switching with disconnector in the power station" competed among 88 projects from 45 countries. It is considered to be the most prestigious international competition for young scientists and engineers in China. Fecko and Ivan graduated this year from the Secondary School of Electrical Engineering in Prešov and plan to continue studying at the Slovak University of Technology in Bratislava.
