The controversial Slovak businessman Marian Kočner accused of falsifying so-called TV promissory notes worth almost €70 million, will remain in custody. The Supreme Court rejected his complaint concerning the ruling of a first-instance court, said Supreme Court spokesperson Alexandra Važanová on Wednesday. In the respective criminal case, the criminal proceedings are being conducted based on the suspected crime of the counterfeiting, altering and unauthorised production of money and securities, along with the obstruction of justice, added the Special Prosecutor's Office spokesperson Jana Tökölyová.
