Slovakia is facing new challenges in the form of a line of presidencies, Foreign and European Affairs Minister Miroslav Lajčák stated in a speech addressed to Slovak ambassadors posted abroad. The regular meeting of the heads of Slovak embassies took place in Bratislava on Tuesday, the press department of the Ministry of Foreign and European Affairs (MZVaEZ) informed TASR. "Since July, we have been chairing the Visegrad Four (Slovakia, Hungary, Poland, Czech Republic), and as of January we will be responsible for the Organisation for Security and Co-operation in Europe (OSCE) leadership. And last but not least, we will chair the OECD Council at a ministerial level," said Lajčák.
