Letecké Opravovne Trenčín will become "a strategic partner" for the American company Lockheed Martin in delivering fourteen F-16C Block 70 fighter jets to the Slovak army, informed Mike Kelley from the American company Lockheed Martin. The contracts on the conditions of the sale of fourteen American fighter jets F-16 to the Slovak army with a total value of 1.86 billion dollars (1.59 billion euros) are likely to be signed by the end of this year. The first fighter jet could be manufactured for Slovakia in September 2022.
