Slovak Agricultural and Food Chamber joins international group

On September 5^th, the Slovak Agricultural and Food Chamber (SPPK) will once more become an official member of the COPA-COGECA international organisation, an association of professional farmers and food producers within the EU, said SPPK spokesperson Jana Holéciova on Sunday. According to her, thanks to the membership, SPPK will have access to key information concerning, for instance, the Common Agricultural Policy (CAP) after 2020, and to other documents currently being drawn up in the agriculture sector. Holéciova also added that renewed membership in COPA-COGECA is good news because if the SPPK did not participate in the creation of key European regulations at this time, it could have a negative impact on all farmers and food producers in Slovakia.
