Airbnb – Slovakia’s score increasing

More than 100,000 people used the Airbnb service in Slovakia last year. When compared to the Visegrád Group countries as Poland, the Czech Republic and Hungary, Slovakia posted the highest increase in the number of tourists using this shared economy platform. This information comes from a report published recently by Airbnb. The increase in Slovakia in 2017 represented 83 percent. In Poland the number of guests using Airbnb grew by 70 percent, in the Czech Republic by 52, and in Hungary by 44 percent. 106,000 people found accommodation in Slovakia through this platform in 2017. The majority came from Slovakia, followed by tourists from the United Kingdom and Germany.
