The reigning Olympic Champion Matej Toth has won the silver medal in the men's 50km racewalk at the European Championships in Berlin on Tuesday. He thus repeated his performance from the previous edition of the competition in 2014. This is the first medal for Slovakia at the 2018 European Athletics Championships.
