1,278 people filed for bankruptcy in Slovakia in July, according to an analysis by the Slovak Credit Bureau (CRIF SK), which manages the credit registers of banks as well as non-banking institutions. The number of personal bankruptcies went up by 72.47 percent in comparison to the same period of last year. Since the beginning of this year until late July, already 7,624 personal bankruptcies were declared in Slovakia.
