The growth dynamics of Slovak industry intensified in November. Adjusted for working days, it surged 12.6 percent in annualized terms and thus even accelerated its 7-percent growth from October, the Statistics Office of the Slovak Republic informed on Friday.
It was the first two-digit growth of production of Slovak industry last year and one of the highest monthly increases over the past years. In the first eleven months of last year the industrial output came up 4.6 percent on average. Net of seasonal influences the industrial output in November 2013 grew 1.9 percent from October 2013. In particular manufacturing was the driving force of Slovakia’s industry when its y/y growth accelerated to 14.6 percent from October’s 9.2 percent.
