Strict measures, including the closure of several streets and an alcohol sale ban, will be in place in Trnava on Tuesday evening due to a UEFA Champions League second preliminary round match between Spartak Trnava and Polish champions Legia Warsaw. Authorities ordered a ban on the sale and consumption of beverages containing more than 4.1-percent alcohol in bars, restaurants and even ordinary shops on two dozen streets around the football stadium. In the first preliminary round, Trnava hosted Zrinjski Mostar at an empty stadium due to a penalty imposed by UEFA for racist displays by their fans during a match against Austria Vienna back in 2016. Trnava also had to pay a fine exceeding €80,000.
