Slovakia climbs 18 places in 2018 e-Government survey

Slovakia and Cyprus have recorded the biggest progress in terms of eGovernment development among European countries, according to the 2018 E-Government Development Index (EGDI) survey that has been published by the United Nations (UN). Of 193 countries of the world, Slovakia ended up 49th, improving by 18 places when compared to 2016, when the previous rankings were published. Denmark, Australia and South Korea topped the 2018 UN E-Government survey, which evaluates the state of eGovernment development in all UN-member countries.
