Towns and municipalities can build smart cities via a pilot scheme to be launched by the end of the year. "The first step will be the creation of a web platform for Smart Cities, the second will be defining the set of activities for their support, and the third will be publishing calls for proposals," said Deputy Prime Minister Richard Raši. European funds should be the primary focus during talks on financing the scheme, even though money will be set aside in the 2019 state budget proposal.
