Around 58,000 foreigners were listed as working in Slovakia at the end of June, according to the Slovak Labour Office. The number of foreign workers went up by 36 percent in comparison to the same period of last year. Serbian citizens are the largest group, followed by Romanians and Hungarians. Almost one third of all foreigners worked in Bratislava.
