The Slovak tennis player Lukáš Lacko lost in the second round of men’s singles in the ATP tournament in Auckland, New Zealand against the third-seeded American John Isner on Wednesday in the second round of the men’s singles event in the ATP tournament.
Lacko put up a strong fight against Isner, but ultimately the American succeeded in a 7-6, 3-6, 6-2 victory against the 26 year old Slovak. The American victor John Isner was prepared for a strong match against the young Slovak, saying, “I knew it would be tough match, because Luke is a very good player”. The Auckland tournament is a rehearsal for the opening grand slam in the Australian Open to be held in Melbourne, Australia starting on January 13.
