There are fewer prospects of new big foreign investors coming to Slovakia, but medium-sized companies from the mechanical engineering and chemical industries are show an increased interest in the country, according to Economy Minister Tomáš Malatinský.
“There are no active negotiations with investors as large as Volkswagen, Kia, and Peugeot-Citroen. However, talks are underway with firms half their size, which are relatively big companies from Slovakia’s point of view”, Malatinský added.
