The beginning of the year has brought good news for Slovaks watching their finances: Poštová Banka has forecast in an analysis that Slovaks will earn more than last year.
“We estimate real wage growth at some 1% this year; hence economically active Slovaks should be able to afford more goods and services from their salaries than last year”, says analyst with Poštová Banka Eva Sadovská. She attributes the salary rise mainly to a slower increase in prices.
