The best Slovak sprinter Ján Volko set the new Slovak record in the 200 metre race, 20.24 seconds, having won this discipline at the Slovak Athletics Championship in Trnava on Sunday. Moreover, the second in the race Šimon Bujna showed another remarkable performance with his time 20.67, thus meeting the criteria for qualifying for the 2018 European Championships in Berlin.
