The Government allocated €1 million at its away-from-home session in the western Slovak district of Medzilaborce on Tuesday, with the funds destined to aid in developing the district, being among the least developed in Slovakia. "The highest amount, nearly €500,000, will be given to the town of Medzilaborce, because the Government will help to finance the construction of a nursery school with a sum of €100,000, the construction of a multifunctional ice arena with €60,000, and will help provide the town police with materials and technical equipment," said Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini (Smer-SD). The government continues its away-from-home session on Wednesday in the eastern town of Bardejov.
