The Government, as part of its series of away-from-home sessions, is set to hold one in the town of Medzilaborce on Tuesday and in the town of Bardejov, both eastern Slovakia, on Wednesday. The ministers are expected to work with action plans for these least developed districts. Cabinet is expected to approve a contribution worth €1.58 million for Medzilaborce and €3.76 million for the Bardejov district. Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini was invited to personal meetings with dissatisfied farmers following his trip to eastern Slovakia. They sent an open letter to him at the end of last week in which they responded to his publicly declared interest in personally visiting farmers in eastern Slovakia and learning about their problems.
