Friday marks the end of the 2017/2018 school year for more than 680,000 children attending primary and secondary schools in Slovakia. The school holidays also start on Monday for 56,000 teachers. The highest number of end-of-year reports are being handed over in the three largest primary schools in the country - in Senec, Šamorín, both southern western Slovakia and in Stupava, western Slovakia. According to the Education Ministry, more than 11,000 Slovak children attended schools abroad.
