Slovakia approved new economic strategy

Reducing energy intensity and higher energy efficiency is one of the priorities of Slovakia's economic policy until 2030. This follows from the economic policy strategy which Cabinet approved on Wednesday. Increasing energy prices motivates companies to make their production more efficient. Although Slovakia has the seventh highest level of energy demand based on constant prices in the EU, it has managed to improve its consumption by more than half over the last fifteen years.
