Rectors consider National Educational Programme incomplete

The Slovak Rectors Conference considers the National Programme for Developing Education and Training, presented by Education, Minister Martina Lubyová (a Slovak National Party/SNS nominee) to be incomplete. The document released earlier this month is more descriptive than programmatic, and lacks an implementation plan and two-year action plans, in Rectors' opinion. "A text without an implementation plan is only an analysis of the current state of education and partly represents an argumentation base for accepted starting points," they said. Rectors want that the current state of affairs - which allows the recruitment of experts from practice and academics from abroad - to be maintained.
