On Monday, the European Commissioner for Budget and Human Resources, Günther Oettinger, is discussing the EU budget with leading Slovak politicians in Bratislava. He is visiting Slovakia as part of his tour in EU member states aimed at debating the 2021-2027 European budget. Oettinger has talks with Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini, Finance Minister Peter Kažimír and the Deputy Prime Minister for Investment and Informatisation on his schedule. As part of his stay, the commissioner should also visit the offices of the Aktuality.sk portal, to pay tribute to its former employee, murdered investigative journalist Ján Kuciak, who died in February.
