Slovak road cyclist Peter Sagan of the German Bora team defended his overall victory in the sprinters' competition at the Tour de Suisse after the last stage which took place on Sunday. Thus he won the black jersey for the best sprinter in Switzerland for the seventh time in his career. Sagan earned 26 points, as did the Australian Michael Matthews, however, the Slovak became the overall winner thanks to one stage victory.
