The signature of a memorandum of understanding between the Slovak National Institute of Children's Diseases and the Children's University Hospital in Riga is on the schedule of the Slovak parliamentary delegation's visit to Latvia, which starts on Monday. In the memorandum, both sides should agree on cooperation in the provision of health care and the movement of doctors and researchers. The Speaker of the Slovak Parliament and head of the Slovak delegation, Andrej Danko, has negotiations with his Latvian counterpart Inara Murniece and Latvian President Raimonds Vejonis on his schedule. During the stay, the Slovak delegation plans to donate a book of Pavol Dobšinský's fairy tales to the Latvian National Library.
