More police will patrol the streets of Bratislava during the summer, said Interior Minister Denisa Saková. More undercover officers are to operate in the centre of the Slovak capital during the main tourist season too. The measures came in reaction to the assault on 36-year-old Henry Acorda from the Philippines on Obchodná Street in late May. He succumbed to his injuries in hospital last week. The suspect, the 28 year old Slovak citizen Juraj H, has been charged with manslaughter. If found guilty he could spend between seven and twelve years in jail.
