The maximum monthly unemployment benefit will increase to €972.30 from the beginning of July this year, according to Peter Višvader, spokesperson for the social security agency Sociálna poisťovňa. The highest possible unemployment benefit is to rise due to an increase of the average monthly wage in Slovakia, which reached €954 last year.
