Fighting terrorism, problems related to migration, press freedom, digitalisation and cybersecurity are the main topics of the International Forum on Parliamentarianism in Russia on Monday, where Slovakia also has its representative, together with almost 100 other states. "At this type of Forum, we can discuss these topics very expediently and exchange our experiences," said Slovak Speaker of Parliament Andrej Danko, whose speech is also on the schedule of the event. However, Slovakia is the only EU member state with its representative at the Forum. Moreover, in November 2017, Danko was the first Slovak to deliver a speech in the Russian Duma. "Official Slovak foreign policy is different from what Danko has presented," said independent MP Zsolt Simon, a member of the Foreign Committee in Slovak Parliament, who was one of the many critics of Danko's speech.
