As many as 142 members of the Slovak Armed Forces are taking part in the Tobruq Legacy, the NATO's largest air defence training in Europe, which began in Hungary on Monday. As Defence Ministry's spokesperson Danka Capaková told the media, in total, the event is being attended by 22 NATO-member states and six NATO international organisations and headquarters. The exercise was originally a training activity for Slovak and Czech air defence units and it has become an internationally recognised format as Defence Minister Peter Gajdoš pointed out. The Tobruq Legacy, which is aimed at harmonising the coordination of the air defence systems of NATO-member states, will end on June 15th.
