The Government continued its away-from-home sessions in the southern central Slovak town of Veľký Krtíš on Thursday. As Prime Minister Peter Pellegrini (Smer-SD) informed, a new investor SAM Automotive from Germany plans to create a total of 805 jobs here. He added that overall it would be a highly sophisticated production with high added value. The manufacturer's products include vehicle roof racks and chrome trims for vehicle windows. If it obtains all building permits, production in Veľký Krtíš could be launched in September. The total investment should reach about €33 million, with the investor seeking an investment aid from the state. At its session in Veľký Krtíš, the Government also approved €1 million as a subsidy for the district.
