A total of 13 cases of measles have been so far reported in the Michalovce district in Eastern Slovakia, according to the chief hygienist Ján Mikas. The two new cases are in the village of Drahňov. Epidemiologists believe that the epidemics started with three cases in people returning from Great Britain with the virus and then spread among the local population who had not been vaccinated.
