The University Hospital in Bratislava, the largest such facility in Slovakia, has been investing €30 million in the reconstruction of its buildings and modernization of medical equipment. The money comes from the state budget as it is under the remit of the Health Ministry. The indebted hospital, which is composed of five facilities, has bought new operation tables, anaesthesiology equipment, incubators, three new CT scanners, computers and plans to buy new hospital beds, too. It is also renovating operating rooms, wards and ER departments.
