Slovakia’s share of EU budget growing

Slovakia should contribute €871 million to the EU's budget next year, representing a 6.2% year-on-year increase, stated the Finance Ministry. Thus, the country's contribution is at the level of 5.9% of the entire the EU's budget. Slovakia's share is continuously growing, however, income from the EU's budget remains many times greater. The exact number is still unclear, as sums allocated for particular sectors remain a topic of negotiations.
